Start with Yourself & Your Family!
The purpose of starting here is to begin this journey by fortifying yourself and your family first. You can’t help us fight trafficking until we make sure you and your family are aware, safe, and ready to be a part of the solution!
The amount of victims that say “I was being trafficked while I was living at home,” or “I was chatting with a pimp online at the dinner table while I was with my family” is astounding. You may feel like this issue hasn’t touched you or your family BUT we need to make sure it hasn’t or that it never does. The amount of young adults and teenagers that meet up with predators they talk to on social media is the #1 way sexual exploitation occurs and we have to prevent it from happening in your home and in your community.
Training
Watch our age appropriate awareness training on your own or with your family. We want you to be aware of how human trafficking occurs, signs to look for, and what you can do if you see it.
Resources
After becoming aware, we want you to dive into our resources and find the help you or your family may need, have the conversations you may need to have, and start gearing up to really join us in this fight.
Game Plan
Now, train yourself/your family. We teach you how to identify predators online and how to respond if you’re in danger. We encourage you to come up with a family/personal game plan so that you/your loved ones aren’t at risk.
8 Days is a feature film by After Eden Pictures, created to open up a conversation with teens and to raise awareness. We encourage you to watch with your friends and family!
AWARENESS TRAINING
