2. Stand for Your Community!

Pick a time to host an awareness training in your home, dorm room, or apartment. Please print out materials beforehand so everyone can get the follow-up they need or flash QR code. Play the video provided and have them go back and do step one so that they can join you the rest of the way.

You never know who in your community could be being exploited at home, hiding sexual abuse, or talking to predators online and they don’t know it. We’ve seen case after case of victims say “I was being trafficked while I was living at home,” or “I was chatting with a pimp online at the dinner table while I was with my family” or “I met up with someone who seemed normal on social media and it ended up being a trap.” You may feel like this issue hasn’t touched your community BUT 1/5 girls are exploited, so most likely it has. We must prevent it from happening in your community.

Get Ready

Download our pre-made invitation and plug in your name, time, and address. Then, send it out via email, text message, and social media! Print out the handout we give you and/or throw the QR code up on the screen before starting the video - some prefer to follow along on their phones so we made a digital version!

Watch

Watch our training you’ve already seen with your community. We want your community to be aware of how human trafficking occurs, signs to look for, and they can do if they see it. We teach how to identify predators online and how to respond if you’re in danger.

Invite Them to Join You

After becoming aware, we want you to make sure you share the resources provided so they can find the help they may need. We want them to go back and do step one at home with their families. Then, invite them to join you and us in this fight.
