My journey into uncovering the truths of American history has been a deeply personal one, shaped by my Christian upbringing and an unwavering commitment to authenticity. A defining moment for my family occurred in 1988 during a rally in Washington, D.C., where my parents, driven by conviction, sought answers regarding moral issues in public schools. This inquiry led to an investigation that traced a moral decline post-1962, coinciding with the prohibition of prayer and the Bible in public schools.
Delving into American history uncovered astonishing truths about the influences of the Founding Fathers. My father David Barton’s discoveries, like Judge Wilson, unearthed profound revelations that contradicted conventional teachings. My emphasis on personally verifying historical texts resonates deeply, urging everyone to take ownership of historical truths. Furthermore, the gift of freedom is invaluable, and I strongly feel that we bear responsibility for it in the eyes of God. The pivotal query remains: How have we utilized our freedom? I am convinced that the Founding Fathers, who were farmers and politicians, laid down a framework through documents, laws, and structures that emphasized limited government and the importance of preventing overreach. It's crucial to acknowledge and uphold this truth.
